Rocky Road

After losing our DREAM girl, Kylee Anne, and settling into my new home, I was looking for another companion for our DREAM alum, Murph(y) (f/k/a Mercury Micromax). We tried several, but none were a good fit – until Rocky came along! It was a slow beginning, with Rocky being 9 and Murph being a 4 year old bundle of non-stop energy who always wakes up with a toy in his mouth ready for play. After 2 weeks of Murph trying to initiate play with Rock, things started happening and they are playing together all the time now. It's such a joy to see them together, happily running through the yard chasing the lizards and squirrels, and each other - and showing the neighbors through our wrought iron driveway fence that the "Dachshund Police" are on the job! Thank you DREAM for adopted Pupper #4. Rocky ended up being just the right fit for our pack!!
