9/22/25 Update:

It's been a while since I had the chance to update you about Jordi! He's LOVING his new life in Spain. My parents have a big fenced yard and he and Charlie play there as much as they want. On top of that, we go to the family farm 3-4 times a week, where he's friends with the family's dogs: Bobby (mutt), Rait (Border Collie), Jot (Greyhound) and sometimes Oopeth (she's an adorable 6yo wire hair dachshund). We've been on multiple hiking day trips and we've also traveled for a few days to France (twice now) and they did great. They are traveled pups now!!

Of course, Charlie and Jordi love each other so much, they are attached to the hip. Also, since we are living with my parents and my dad is retired, they are barely ever alone more than 1h at a time (and at most 2h on a given day, maybe a total of 5h/week). They don't mind being left alone together at the house at all, they just go to sleep. It's lovely to see them so cool about it. Since early September we've started obedience lessons and Jordi is thriving. Overall, I believe they are happy with the move and I feel so grateful it all worked out so well.

Last thing that you'll see in the pictures too, my mom just sewed them some PJs for when they go in the garden early in the morning, since temperature will start to drop soon (winter is the low 40s here) and Jordi is a summer lover, he's always looking for the sunny spot or burrowing under layers of blankets.

As always, eternally grateful to you for trusting Charlie and me to take good care of Jordi. He couldn't be a better little brother to her and grandchild to my parents. He's the best companion I could've ever hoped for. Thanks for making my life so much better.
