Sadly, we had to let Charlie (aka Violet) go on Friday. The vet thought that she had a massive stroke. Charlie came into our family February of 2020. So she was an old girl. Although extremely antisocial when we first got her, she warmed up, and over the years became part of the pack - Paxton (from DREAM) and Ziggy (from Dallas) - were her Dachshund friends. She slept with me and my husband every night. We loved Charlie. She was definitely an underdog that made it. I’m writing this with tears in my eyes. Charlie’s was truly loved the last years of her life. She knew it and was happy. Thank you to DREAM for bringing her into our lives.
