It is with a heavy heart that I announce Pooki passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning after a short battle with cancer.

He seemed fine yesterday with no discomfort, ate well, took his meds without a fuss, etc. When I woke up this morning he had already passed in his sleep with the ball his foster gave him the day we picked him up at her house and in his favorite blanket.
