Princess came to DREAM Dachshund Rescue with five other dogs who were turned into a shelter by their owners. This lovely lady doesn't act like an older dog, as she loves toys, will fetch a ball and enjoys taking walks. She is also eager to snuggle up whenever there is anyone available to snooze with, be it dogs or humans! Princess is very friendly with all people. She meets everyone with a wagging tail and welcomes being petted and receiving belly rubs. Princess was diagnosed with Cushings but the medicine she is on is helping her feel so much better. We would consider making Princess eligible for “Senior Sanctuary” adoption since she will need this medication for the rest of her life. She is such a sweetheart; she really deserves a forever family to call her own.
