6/12/19 Update from Georgie's Foster

Georgie likes to stand up to the window sill and look out. He looks in both directions to check out what's going on. At the same time, his tail is spinning around and around so fast you think he might take flight! When it comes to food, Georgie gets so excited he spins around in a tight circle as he is walking to food bowl. Too cute!

Georgie is extremely good at going outside to potty (I have doggie door). He obeys commands very well, and walks on a leash. He is also very loving, and likes to sleep with his head on the pillow right next to me. He loves everyone.

Georgie Gingerbread was returned to DREAM due to the declining health of his elderly owners. He was adopted 5 years ago, and at the time he was about a year old. He is a cute dachshund mix about 14 lbs, healthy and friendly. Georgie is used to being around other dogs, and he likes to play, but if he is in your lap he can be a little possessive. He just growls to try and claim his space but nothing too drastic. He gets attached to his humans pretty quickly and he’s very lovable! He is crate trained, but also likes to sleep snuggled up with people and other dogs. He generally doesn’t have any accidents in the house as long as he’s let out on a regular basis to do his business. Georgie gets along with cats as well.
