A letter to my future adopter:
Hi everybody, my name is Quentin Quince. I am a very lovable beautiful boy that loves to snuggle on your lap or next to you. I love belly rubs and sometimes I will nibble on your fingers, but I NEVER bite. Sometimes when I’m really excited, like at dinner time or when it’s time to go outside, I will jump up and nibble on your hands or I will grab your pants leg to let you know how excited I am. It's all for attention and to play, I am a nice dog!
My foster mom has a little dachshund that I LOVE to play with. Sometimes we get really loud and crazy when we play. I like to chase little yellow balls and to grab the blankets my foster mom puts all over the furniture. I get so excited at mealtime that I just can’t sit still. I try really hard, and I try to wait for my food but sometimes I just can’t contain myself, so my foster mom feeds me separately from my other siblings.
I’m a good rider in the car. I would prefer to sit next to you, and have you pet me, but I know it’s not safe, so I curl up and rest safely secured in the back seat.
I LOVE, LOVE people of all sizes. I am very gentle with my foster mom's small grandchildren. I do jump up on them, but they understand that I’m just excited to see them.
Sometimes I pee or poop in the house. I know, it's embarrassing, but I am getting much better these days. I have learned that going outside is better, but sometimes I can’t help it. I have worn a belly band and I may have to do so when you first bring me home, but I will try really hard not to have accidents. Please be patient with me if you decide to adopt me and give me some time to adjust to a new routine. I know what a pee pad it, and I started using it, so that's good news!
I like other dogs, but it would be best if they don’t mind a playful pup like me.
I would make a wonderful addition to your family if you think you can open your heart to me and help me get adjusted to your routine.
