3/10/17 Update

Lexie has only been in her foster home for a few days, but so far we know she is very sweet and affectionate. She is a beautiful red, 8 year old female, who ended up in the rescue with three of her friends when their owner was no longer able to take care of them. Lexie will happily curl up next to you on the couch. She already knows how to use the doggie stairs, and is doing well with the dog door. She is getting along great with all the other dogs in the house. We are working on helping her lose a few pounds while she waits for her forever home!

This pretty red girl is Lexie Romesco. Recently, Lexie and three of her ''friends" were surrendered to DREAM because their owner had become ill and was unable to care for them any longer. We are just getting to know Lexie, as she is now settling in with her foster family. She's an 8 years old, smooth red girl who enjoys spending time in her human's lap. She gets along well with other dogs but does not like being in a crate. She is overweight at 16 lbs, so she needs some help to whittle down those extra pounds. Lexie's only been with one owner, so she's looking for a forever family where she can love and be loved for many years to come!
