Update from Buster’s Foster Mom…

Buster has come a long, long way from being a sad, scared and lonely fellow! He's a total cuddle bug now and has even become a bit of a “velcro dog.” I can't seem to go anywhere without him wanting to follow me. He does great with the other dogs and always uses the doggie steps to get up and down from the couch and chair (his favorite spot next to me!). He’s a bit of an escape artist, in that it’s impossible to keep him secure in the kitchen when I'm at work. He's a stubborn, (albeit crafty) little guy, and he has figured out how to get out of three different gates I've put up. I don't particularly like to crate, since it’s so confining and sometimes I do work a long day. I have a large tiled kitchen with lots of dog beds and access to the backyard through the doggie door. He either just doesn't like to be restrained in any way, or he’s just bound and determined to get out and go looking for me! Buster would pair nicely with someone who works from home or is possibly retired. Having his human around all or most of the day would make him a really happy camper!

This is Buster Brise'. He's a very handsome, red, 12 year "young" fellow. Sadly, Buster's life has been turned upside down. One day he belonged to an owner who adored him, and the next day, his owner had a massive stroke and is not expected to recover. Because immediate family could not care for him, he remained in his home all alone, with large bowls of food and water in case they couldn't get back right away to check on him. Thank goodness a friend of the family had connections to DREAM and we were contacted to help! Thanks to our amazing team of DREAM volunteers, arrangements were made to get Buster picked up and get him into a foster home. He'll be making his intake visit to the vet where we'll learn more about his overall health, but what we do know now, is that he is simply precious and sweet! This little man would love nothing more than a new forever family for Christmas and forever! Could it be yours?
