Ralphie Riviera
	Status: Forever Foster Gender: Male Age: Young (3-7 Years) Size: Tweenie (12-16 lbs) Color: Black & Tan Coat: Wirehaired
Ralphie was picked up as a stray, and we rescued him from the shelter. He was very scared, and not easy to handle at the vet he was likely a dog who spent his young life surviving on the streets. Ralphie really enjoys other dogs but is still very untrusting of humans. He will lay near you on the couch or in the bed, but his instincts are to run away if you try to pick him up or pet him, and he would prefer not to be touched. Luckily he is very good with other dogs and cats too, and he would do well with a dog buddy or two. He will need an owner with patience who can work to socialize and help him understand that humans are not going to hurt him. Ralphie is about 13 lbs and about 18 months old.
